Stitchin' The Day Away

Although I was so sad to hear about the Ning Pins & Needles Site closing, I am very thankful to APP and Ms Brenda for setting up this new site on Blogger for us. I really enjoy sharing and being able to see what everyone else is working on. It's so inspiring!! Plus... I'm made some awesome friends on Pins!♥ How about you?
Here is Oklahoma it's been HOT! and that has made me want to be inside where the AC is running during the afternoons, so I had been enjoying hand stitching projects like embroidery and punchneedle.
I have found a wonderful blog authored by Sue Allemand, who creates the cutest FREE stitchery patterns! What a sweetie, to share with us "stitchery junkies" for free!
Check out her blog, Free Stitchin' Patterns HERE
Hope all of you are finding some time to enjoy your favorite stitching craft.

Thanks again, APP and Ms Brenda for keeping us Pins & Needles gals together!!

Yes I am so excited that we will be able to keep some of us together. I realize that some will drop out. But I know there are a handful of us regulars that are already signed up here on blogger so we can post.
Yes the weather here in Oz Ks has been un-bearable too. We had a huge thunderstorm last night and I received 3 inches of rain in about 2 hours... Not to mention all of the thunder and lightning... I hope you weren't caught in that storm.
Your just like me... I hate being out in the heat of the summer. You have chosen a very fun way to pass the time. The design you chose is just perfect for my garden growing friend.
Thank you for the link to the very awesome site :)

OOh very nice stitchery - I need to go have a look there.

Now punchneedle - not something I have actually tried - maybe one day.

Thanks for sharing.

Very pretty stitchery. I keep saying I would like to try punch work. Not sure why I haven't. I should add that to my summer need to learn list :)

Thanks, Robin! I'm pretty new to punchneedle, but was lucky to get a hands on lesson from an expert, so I understood it better. Now, I'm addicted! lol!! :)
