September is Flying By!

Since my hubby is on vacation, we've been doing some traveling, visiting family and friends,
so September is really flying by for me!
But ... I have been sewing, mainly for a few craft shows ~
Halloween tote bags
Snowman pillows
and a few aprons
September is half over!!!
It's time to really get serious about the Christmas crafting and gift making!! :)
Sooo..... what are you working on??
Happy Crafting :)

I just finished a fish hat for Christmas and have started on a little halloween witch. I also have two trick or treat bags and a set of baby blocks to make this weekend. Why am I sitting here on the computer????

I'm having a Christmas in the Making Party Saturday night. I'm decorating a tree and will serve cookies and something yummy to drink. We'll plan and craft while listening to Christmas music!

I can't seem to shake myself out of summer mode and get to some serious projects for Christmas or work on any of my UFOs.

You make such lovely things, it's a shame that you wound up at the wrong sale venue. I think people browsing at a flea market are not likely to be thinking about purchasing handmade crafts. I hope you can find a good craft show to sell at. I love your "Hello Kitty" sock. I'm sure people would snap them up.

Wonderful work, CJ, I especially love the snowman pillows. Do you have an Etsy shop? I forgot if you told me before, but I'm getting a bit forgetful these days - I'd like to take a peek! I am a pillow holic and must have lots and lots of them!

Wishing you lots of success at the Craft Fair!!!!

P.S.

In answer to your question, CJ, I am crocheting hats/caps for my mother in Germany. She asked me for one and when it got there, all the nurses and her fellow "inmates" loved it so that I told her I have lots of yarn and will make a bunch and mail them to her to give out to her friends at Christmas. Isnt' that fun?

Plus I'm making a couple more for her in her favorite colors (purple and lavender and pink) and also she loves sunflwers, so I crocheted a brown one that will get a huge sunflower on the side PLUS a matching sunflower brooch and some tiny sunflwer earrings. I have lots of fishhooks that I can use and embroidery floss for crocheting her some dainty sunflwoer earrings.
